Slow edition

2010

It seems that I can buy more garments than I can edit from my closet and although that does not sound very encouraging maybe it's one of the reasons that keep me going.
Edit reasons vary. Today's item of choice for edition is a J. Teal brand top that was purchased pre blog and has been worn only about four times in 8 years. The fabric is thin, the collar is showing signs of wear and its not been worn enough to stay in the closet. Slow edits are my way of doing things, it may not be immediate but there are no regrets.

It's a cute top, but it does sound like it's time for you to let it go :)

I do slow edits too. I would love to do a 1 in 1 out rule, but that won't work for me. Trying to buy less is the best way I've come up with to manage my wardrobe, and I'm trying to be more ruthless with my editing, but having less stuff entering is the thing I'm most successful at, ha!

Hope you are having a great weekend so far :)

The colour is good, though - when I edit a piece like this, I make a mental note to look for that thing that I liked about a gone item, like the colour. If you don't still have a nice coral top, that would be a good thing to put on your radar for next time you shop, for example. It seems like a good basic.
