As every other blogger I follow gets ready to sport their booties for fall, I am wearing mine for one last time. These burgundy Nine West booties are very likely pre blog and including today, been worn just eight times. I have never been fully in love with them, you know what I mean ?

Booties worn with a black pencil skirt 18.08.2009 and with jeans 21.08.2009. Here in 10.01.2010 again with Levis jeans, probably my fave wear is the black dress with fuchsia tights 01.03.2010. Again with bell bottom jeans in 08.04.2010, an all black look 02.06.2014 and with black velvet pants 02.08.2017
Oh, and the blouse has a story too it was a purchase from Los Angeles, worn just three times in the last 8 years, here is the 2010 wear and my fave look in 2014 but you know, I never got control of that bow !

I have a pair of booties that I just sort of feel "meh" about - and yet I always sort of force myself to wear them at least once or twice each fall. And I doubt this year will be much different. Also, for what it's worth, I really like your pair. That colour is great.

I love the bow on both your blouse an shoes - ties (ha!) your outfit together beautifully, even if you aren't going to keep either piece.
Originally thought this was a feminine take on menswear with the bow on your blouse and a vest on top of a skirt, but it's a dress! And what a pretty dress :)
I downsized my wardrobe a little more yesterday. I'm feeling frustrated to have made so little progress with my 30 wears goal this year - most of the pieces have been accessories, with just a couple items of clothing. I was sure I'd have hit 30 wears on more. Just shows I have too many clothes in my wardrobe!

I know what you mean with the bow! I find it also sometimes challenging to controll the bow on a blouse. The combo is cute but I understand why you wore the booties the last time.
