Sales rack skirt

Grey pleated skirt Calvin Klein - Butterfly print shirt Available - Light blue bow flats Gio Zanotti

It was probably two months ago when I first saw this skirt on the sales rack. It actually made it all the way to the cashier but right there and then I decided I could live without it. Then I went back a week or so ago there is was, now with an additional discount. As it was discounted, per store policy I could not try it on, so I went for it, I mean it had pockets.  Today is my first wear and very likely my last, its big at the waist and is not flattering.
Oh and in case you're wondering, today I pinned a flower brooch on my watch - and it looked unpredictably good.

I like the skirt! What if you hiked it up higher and belted the waist? Sort of a "paper bag" waistline, then? What kind of store doesn't let you try things on??

Love the skirt!

WHAT? You can't try something on if it's on sale? I don't think I'd shop at that store again on principal... is that something common?

You know Lorena, the same thing is happening with me. Love circle & pleated skirts, but they're not looking very neat on me. LOL So I've given up on them. Love the brooch & watch.

Wow I wouldn't shop there again, so annoying that you can't try things on when they are reduced further! I guess that's their way of making sure people buy - it's a bargain so they buy and only later realise it's not right. I'm guessing you can't return it now either because of the extra discount! We have that rule here sometimes, no change of mind for sale items but you can always try things on.
