"I mean I know nothing about fashion, but, It's just too loud..."

Those were my H's exact words this morning when he saw me wearing this:
My only guess was that he did not fancy the tights.
After that remark and the fact that it was REALLY HOT this morning, the above turned into the below:

He then said I looked more "normal" - what is that supposed to mean ?
- Black dress Target
- Red textile flower (market in Argentina)
- Black strappy sandals Red Lips
- Blue and black clutch BCBG
SO, tell me do you look for approval in what you wear ?
Are you discouraged by others like I was this morning ?

Ilove the coloured tights with the dress, and yes I do like approval though I have to say I dress for me but I dont particularly like it when someone makes a comment Im not expecting to hear and like you Im probably thinking hmm shall I go and change.

I loved the pink tights!

But the "changed" outfit is cute, too!

I very rarely look for acceptance from my husband. LOL now, if you or another wardrobe blogger said- nah, it's too loud, then I may rethink it.

But if my hubby says so- notsomuch! LOL

I was so sad to read that you changed!!!! I really liked the first... Sometimes I don't listen to what my husband thinks of my outfits ;);)

I like both looks, but I actually prefer the first - I like the fact that your pink shoes and tights give you a long leg line even though they are bright! You look lovely in both outfits.

I definitely take my mom's comments to heart - she has a better eye than I do and knows my style very well. Although her taste is a bit more conservative and casual, I'm likely to change outfits if she doesn't care for something when I see her - she definitely is more helpful than picky.

I love both looks. I have a dress almost exactly the same and it has inspired me. Yes I used to worry what people thought but not any more. You look fab. As always.

I agree with everyone else - I like both looks but prefer the tights.

I don't look to anyone for feedback about my style, really. I dress for myself - if I feel good in it, that's all that matters.
