Vintage and new rock crystal necklaces

The other day I sold the long rock crystal vintage necklace I am wearing here.
Happens that after I set a price I realized this was a much valuable piece as it has a silver clasp and other interesting markings.
Then was just overwhelmed when the buyer told me she was going to take it apart and mix it with plastic beads. Ouch!
I could have made up an excuse but she had already bought it.... so I did the right thing and just delivered it.
Now all I have is my regret and this picture.

Those crystal necklaces were EXTREMELY popular in the 1950s - I have two that people have given me. They are everywhere in thrift and vintage shops, and you can usually pick them up for between $5-10. So don't kick yourself too hard, Lorena. You can easily find another one.

I LOVE these trousers! They are so fun - they look fantastic on you.

I like these two slouchy pieces together and those are pretty necklaces! I guess that's the downside of selling things cheaply - the buyer has a great win while the seller can miss out sometimes! It's a bad story for you but a happy one for the buyer!

Hope you are having a good weekend :) We enjoyed the warmer weather at the park yesterday, such a nice day for winter!

It's such a beautiful necklace - I'm surprised she wanted to take it apart! I have a very similar in green that I inherited from my grandmother.
