Fake pearls

Pink pleated dress Forever 21, similar but expensive  vs similar affordable - Metallic satchel Stella Rittwagen, similar
Black flower print block heels Zara, great kitten heel option under 20.00 USD
White pearl neckalce Forever 21, here beautiful option on sale under 3.00 USD
It may seem odd that exactly the day after I assisted a jewellery appreciation class, I chose to wear my fake pearls from Forever 21.
Sometimes it takes me time to process and actually put into action what I have learned. I've begun to reconsider my pearl collection, which I may share with you in a future post. In the meantime, I'll just wear what I have.

I think they are fun! I like the colored thread they are woven with. It is nice to have a mix of classic and costume jewelry. I don't worry about wearing costume jewelry if it gets ruined or breaks, but I still want to have nice pieces for special occasions!

That dress reminds me of my mint green vintage one (which I gave away recently). I have a bunch of faux pearls - I would love to see your collection!

I agree, wear what you love. But I also feel like I want to have a more upgraded jewelry collection. And I'm loving this fun bubble gum pink dress on you.

I know this post is all about the pearls but that forever 21 dress looks so elegant! Love it!

¡Me encanta el vestido y el toque de las perlas es perfecto! No importa que sean falsas yo también tengo collares de perlas falsos y aún así creo que aportan elegancia a cualquier look.

I love that dress! Like my wardrobe, I think it's fun to have a mix of cheap and cheerful and precious and sentimental jewellery :) There's a place for everything really!

Hope you are having a good start to your week! :) I have a quieter week planned after it was so busy last week!
