Regretful purchases

Printed green dress Collective Concepts - Brown flats Franco Sarto - Colorful straw bag, similar

Regretful for not purchasing or for purchasing ? Which one are you guilty of ? I did a quick check of my 2017 purchases year to date here and I actually have no regretful purchases so far ! I have not returned any items and have actually been very conscious about what enters my closet.
The dress I am wearing today, I am guessing is one of my cousin's "regretful buys" as it was one of the many garments I got from her a few weeks ago (here) when I picked up two bag loads of clothes from her house. I am wearing it for the first and last time today. Although I love the print and length, I had to tug on the top part which was too sheer for my style. The shell earrings are also going to the give away bag, they are part of a necklace+earring set, but get little wear.
So, I am waiting to hear what are you regretful for purchasing or not ?

Dear Lorena, how wonderful you don't regret any ouf your purchases in 2017 and although you wrote that you wore this look the first and last time (you cousin had obviously great stuff!) I think this is a pity as this outfit looks perfect on you!

That is wonderful that you've been making good choices this year!
Do I have any regrets? Hum. Well there were a few gifted things which have already left my closet, for quality/fit issues, and I've certainly made TONS of returns, though I don't consider them regrets, so much as just trying things out.

Funny you should mention this, because I am planning a post about the things I bought this season, but didn't wear, for one reason or another. It's a learning experience! Mostly, when I got the pieces home, they did not fit in with the rest of my wardrobe as well as anticipated, and I was able to return them unworn. There have been a few miss steps, though...

I suss out pretty quick things that don't work for me - it helps when you wear them ASAP (season weather permitting!). I don't ever return anything (hard to do when you shop second-hand anyway). I have gotten a few gifts that I've put in the giveaway pile immediately (my mom does not seem to have a handle on what kind of jewelry I like, at all).

Very pretty colours in the dress!
I bought some sandals recently primarily for their comfort, as they are not my usual style. Mistake! I will never wear them and too late to return them. Will have to sell on Ebay!!

It's awesome you don't regret any of your purchases! I have a few things I bought last year I'm realising weren't the right fit for my wardrobe and it's a good (and thankfully not to expensive) reminder to myself to only buy what I actually want and not settle for things as they are 'good enough'!

Hope you are having a lovely week :)
