Colombia Street

Palm tree print dress Sweet similar here - Black flats Vera Wang Lavender - Straw hat from Cuba - Green pom pom made by my husband, here are a few straw hats with pom poms, so you're husband won't have to make you one :) here, here and here

I grew up in this 1930's neighbourhood and sometimes think that my admiration and lust over vintage and things of other decades has to do with it. As I drove past this building and saw the sun beams against the old walls, I decided to stop take my picture there. Feeling a little nostalgic for all those other homes that have become hideous treeless parking lots or energy consuming glass skyscrapers, just being there made me feel at home.

Oh I really like your dress! The house is the perfect backdrop for the colours in the print too.

I know a little about what you mean with the developments too - it's hard for us as the are we want to move to is pretty competitive - old houses are being snapped up to be demolished and make way for apartments and it makes it even harder to buy a good house as you're competing against people wanting a back yard AND developers wanting to make more units! Sad :(

¡Hola, Lorena!
