Bandolinos

Pink button down shirt Chelsey & Jack - White skirt Zara - Andy bag Carolina Herrera

As mentioned yesterday, I went through my shoes this weekend. Realised that  many of them had expired. This is one of them: the burgundy Bandolinos, these had already been to the cobbler and the inner part was deplorable. However the outer part was in perfect shape, so I considered keeping them. But, if I ever had to remove the shoes in public I would have died of embarrassment. Then I looked back to how may times they had been worn, just 5 wears (including today) the previous wear was in 2013. Not worth the hassle, the probable embarrassment and the space they take up. Bye Bandolinos.

Love this pleated skirt! So sorry you have to save goodbye these pretty shoes but that only means you can replace them with something else!

They are pretty shoes but much better to get rid of them and wear something you can love and enjoy completely and not have to worry about what would happen if you removed them! hehe!

I have a pair of flats I LOVED and wore to death, took them to the cobbler a few times for repairs but eventually I had to admit defeat....I get around it by keeping them as "driving shoes" in the car, ha! I know this won't work for you as these are heels (unless you're one of those awesome people who can drive in heels!) but goes to show you don't always have to let go entirely ;)

it is a good idea to get rid of shoes you don't use...those are lovely, but if it is their time to go, bye bye.

you look amazing in this outfit!

Such a great look! I hate getting rid of shoes, but then there is always room for more, right?!

Yeah, sometimes it's just not worth the time and energy when you consider the number of wears/uses you get out of something - plus now you can look around for a new pair and that's always fun!

Considering how little they've been worn, I think the choice to let them go is the right one. I know I've been holding on to too many pairs I rarely wear for a million reasons, I'm sure none of which are very good.

Lorena, this one made me laugh...that you would die of embarrassment from the deplorable state of your shoes! You look fabulous in this pastel/neutral color palette! Thanks for linking up with me On the Edge.
