Dated

Last time I wore this suit I was fully aware
that it was going to be edited from my closet.
Black suit with embroidered flowers Bissou Bissou - Red suede shoes Melissa
A blogger friend, Sheila, had the perfect description
for it: the suit is dated.
Yellow blouse LuckyCom - Black bag Tous
This tends to happen to me a lot, mostly
because I hold on to things for a long time.
So dated :)

You know, I actually think you could keep the blazer part and just lose the pants. The embroidery on the jacket isn't as dated feeling as the effect is on the pants. Funny how that works! But the cut looks amazing on you!

I agree with CF above - it's the pairing of both pieces that looks dated. I think either of them could be worn separately. Love this yellow on you!

I had "bell-bottoms" in the closet from the Seventies which are now fashionable again as "flared pants." I also listen to Sheila's advice.

I suppose that is true, and even when trends do come back around again, they take on a form slightly different than they originally were. So I think you are right to let it go.

As with all 'dated' things, unless they make you truly happy, just let them go.

Seconding what others have said. Though I do actually really like this suit as a combo, I think it could work better worn as separate pieces. Perhaps that same blouse and jacket with a black or beige (to pick up the beiges in the floral embroidery) skirt instead?

I think now there are no dated wear, if You look good in something, don't bother - wear it instead to buy trendy outfits, which make You looks bad. I don't care about what is trendy/dated - it is really bull s***t!

You look good in this set!

I used diffrnet styles items, somethimes I find and use something my great-grandmother and looks super. People asking me - where You buy it?
