Things I know

There are things I know but, that sometimes I need to be reminded of.

Black skirt Target Limited edition - Leopard print top Da Moda - Black shoes Chinese Laundry - Black bag Roberto Cavalli

One of them is that items that are have lost their original color must go.

Like this black skirt. It's one of my favorites but it is faded.
These pictures reminded me that faded does not look good.
I can always dye it but due to past experience in the area, I'll skip that
step and send the skirt directly to the give away bag.

I love that skirt on you. It doesn't look faded in the picture.

love the blouse! love the shoes! and the skirt doesn't look faded to me, but i know you are a better judge of the original color!

i have a top that is flattering, but it is an ugly yellow color with a STUPID pattern. i kind of want to try dying it with tea. it probably won't turn out great, but you know how hard it is to give up an article of clothing if it is flattering. sigh.

I think you are right - trying to fix up failing clothes never really works out. There will be other black pencil skirts. you will love again.

I love the shoes. I would have to agree with you about the dying--it's easier to replace.

Love that leopard print top paired with your skirt! The colour looks great to me, but pictures don't always capture everything :)

Too bad this skirt is a little faded cause it is a great fit on you. I love your top and shoes, too. =)
