Groups again

Yeah, once again I am involved in group work.

Liz Claiborne black trousers - Animal print top - Halston vintage scarf - Black wedges Kenneth Cole New York -
Purple bag Kenneth Cole Reaction
Group of 6 was conformed we agreed on meeting the next day
at a set place and time.
One person took everyone's email and cel phone number on a piece of paper,
the idea is this person would coordinate through email.

Got to the meeting point, 3 of 6 showed up.
No coordination email was received.
Only had the contact info of the 3 participants
- the "coordinator" did not show up.
The day the presentation had to be done, one of the participants
(the one who wrote down all the contact information) called
me 3 hours before class to ask me if I could scan for her the document from where we had to do the presentation.
She said that she had been busy and that was going to get operated on (programmed surgery).
I told her I did not have it scanned, just in hard copy.
Told her the day the group met we shared the document and that
I would be in the classroom earlier that day and
that if she wanted we could meet there.
She never showed up and arrived class late.
I presented for the group.
Funny thing:
The presentation was about group work and it included an analysis
of how the group worked - which I pretty much described as I have above.
(With the exception of her call)
Nevertheless we decided -and said so- to include the rest of the absent participants in the group assignment.

This afternoon I received a call from one of the participants that actually participated who asked if I had received the email from the "coordinator".
Apparently she was upset and her anger was directed towards me.

What am I to do ?
Seriously feeling like I am in high school.

Gah, i would be pulling my hair out and I would mention the difficulty of the group dynamics to the instructor. Although, I think by now you've probably figured out that the responsible parties always do the work...

Wow. It sounds like high school. We expect adults to act grown up but, sadly, many never learn how. Sorry, buddy.

WOW that is an awful situation. What a horrible coordinator, bad "leader". You are right for being upset but she is totally in the wrong. You guys actually did the work and even involved the other 3 people.

Let me ask you again what are these group presentations you have to constantly work on? For school, what class/es?

On the up side, you look CHIC. =))
