Inspired by Marni's Color Scheme

As some of you may be aware I have
this cropped Style & Co. jacket on trial:

Last week when I asked ideas on how I could wear it,
I received many useful comments.
Some of these pointed that
I have yet to try is pairing it with a LBD, a flared skirt and
some blue, grey and brown hues...
The thing is I am not sure I own a flared skirt or
have blue hues to pair it with ....
but, I will have to check my closet and see what I come up
with or maybe it's just an indication that I need
to get some garments
(oh, what a great excuse!)
So while I get to exploring my closet, I got an
inspired look -inspired on color scheme below ....

While the colors are not exactly the same...
here's my look.

Merona top · Style & Co. jacket · Target black skirt ·Neiman Marcus black tote · Kenneth Cole Reaction wedges

Also in case you want to know how the shower story ended....
They already picked a date, which is THIS Saturday,
a day I already have plans for: at the beach.
I have no intention of staying for this gimmicky shower.
Long story short, we are spending more on the
shower than she will ever get in present$.
Which I think it's idiotic.
But, I am dropping the ball here.
SO, they will only be taking my money.

You are so good. I have a lot of trouble looking at the runway stuff and finding a way to translate it into my life and wardrobe.

I love that the colors are almost identical but, in different pieces... it's a nice switch :)

works! if you dare to wear brights with brights, the combination that i fancy and which seems to be in now are fushchia with red. orange as well. i wouldn't consider purple nor blue.
