This dress is something I would probably not have gone for when I started the blog. I needed comfort and I am not one who is willing to sacrifice looking pulled together in order to achieve that. This dress was so unlike me that I just had to try it.

I like this on you - it's different than your usual style, but in a good way. I love the wide white band on the bottom - better than a solid black!
My last "unlike me" item is the high-necked, long-sleeved black floral prairie-style dress that I bought (have worn it twice so far). The dark colour and the overall coverage caught readers by surprise.
