Consign

Black ruffle trim top DNA, similar here - Black tank top no brand - Printed cat scarf
Jeans Liz Claiborne - Yellow Tsubo heels, sim here - Vintage cat print scarf Laurel Burch similar, here is the Gucci version

The other day I went to the consignment shop to drop of a few closet edits. I usually consign about 60% of what I edit and donate the rest.
When I got back home I thought I'd add how much money I had made from clothing I had consigned the last year. In my case it was 176.00 USD.  Although, I am still pending so receive another payment soon, so I am guessing it will be a little over 200.00 USD.
Do you consign? Do you think its worth the hassle? What do you do with your edits?

I do consign once in a while. Sounds like you did fairly well. That scar is so fun, really livens up your look.

Love the scarf with your black top! :)

We don't have consignment stores here. We have some designer consignment stores, I frequent one a bit too often and have consigned a few of my bags and accessories there now and then :)

I consigned a little, but it was a hassel, so I haven't done it recently!!
That scarf is such a beautiful focal point, Lorena!!

That is awesome! I really need to try consigning locally. I've sold clothes to ThredUp with their "clean out bags" but the pay is generally pretty terrible. I love those yellow shoes and how they coordinate with the color in your scarf!

I never come away with that much money from my consignments! I suppose if I took the time to sell things on ebay I might make more, but mostly I think it has to do with over saturation, and over pickiness in the stores. They wont usually give you the time of day unless you've got designer things. Otherwise they will nitpick over a thread.
