Idealisation

I idealise many things.
Usually things that got away seem to
be "portrayed as ideal".

Black tank top Volar - White blazer Monteau -
Black and white trousers H&M - Black flats Lavander Vera Wang

For example, that pair of Marc Jacobs shorts that I did not buy.
I tend to think those were the shorts that would have looked amazing
with something else in the closet.. If I had only bought them.

I think its the reason behind my most recent purchases.
I have fear of regret ..

Love your nails, and the classic black and white outfit! :)

I often find myself thinking about purchased I'd wished I'd made and things I "missed out on". But I'd rather that than an overflowing wardrobe full of things I don't wear I guess :)

Yes, exactly. That if only syndrome. Because it's so easy. Everything is perfect in your imagination.

Hi Lorena. First I want to thank you for the time you took to leave multiple comments. That was very kind. I know about this remorse feeling. It's behind many of my purchases but thank God I mainly thrift lately so it doesn't set me back a lot. Anyway, it's not a good practice and I don't know how to kick it out. Maybe by being more creative with what I have is the answer? Great business woman outfit you wear today!

And yep...sometimes I make purchases because of that too, I'm like 'I'm going to wish I bought this in a few weeks'
