Happiness

"Happiness in intelligent people,

Trousers Neon pink H&M - Scarf top Zara - Black shoes Zara -
Black bag Roberto Cavalli
is the rarest thing I know.."
- Ernest Hemingway

This quote is so tied to the
"Ignorance is bliss" one..

What do you think ?
-
What would you rather be ?

That's a tough one. I'd like to be happy, but I don't think I could give up all I've learned.

I agree with Londyn - there's a balance, that's where I want to be! haha :)

As much as I love and respect Hemingway as a writer and great thinker, and though I have witnessed that quote in action, I do not agree with it entirely. One can have both intelligence and happiness at the same time for sure (humbly, I have a very high IQ and yet I have zero problem being and feeling happy most of the time, in large part because I feel that happiness is often a conscious choice and I choose to at least try and be happy every day of my life).
