Bahamas

Certainly for many people the word Bahamas will bring
memories of beaches, vacations and many wonderful things.

While all of the above is certainly true, when I think of Bahamas,
I think of Freeport.

A few years back I was in Freeport, Bahamas, in between appointments I decided to sit down and a cold drink and a bite.

So, I find a little place and order a lemonade and
a sandwich.

After a couple of minutes my order arrives.
An icy cold lemonade that I drank up almost immediately
and a ham and cheese sandwich.

As I take the first bite of my sandwich I feel something in my mouth.
I open up the sandwich to find - I am not kidding
at least 8 strands of curly hair.

It was like a hair sandwich.
I freaked out. Called the server, explained and showed her the hair.
She asks me if I want another sandwich.
I say no and ask for the bill.
I sit there waiting for at least an apology.
Nothing.
Then comes the bill, the sandwich is charged.
I pay only for the lemonade and the server is upset
because I "took a bite out of the sandwich".

I walk away.

Bahamas reminds me of the hair sandwich.

LOL Lorena! At first I thought you were going to say, you were so hungry that you were eating your own hair in the sandwich. LMAO!!! Oh gosh girl, that is horrible and I can't believe they had the nerve to charge you! Outrageous! LOVE LOVE LOVE this outfit on you! It's so tropical. I've got to find some blue pants like that. Looks great with that orange! Adore your necklace doll.

WOW what an awful story. They shouldn't have charged you for the lemonade either and they should offered you a dessert on the house. Not only should the server have apologized, but the manager too. I have had one or even two pieces of hair on a dish, it has happened a few times but this is totally unheard of and so unsanitary. It is like they did it on purpose.

On a positive side, you radiate in this bright outfit. I need me some pants like yours to recreate this look. I did pin it (the old-fashioned way - saved to my pc since I am not on Pinterest). I love that first photo and its cool effects!
