A few weeks ago a friend told me about a house nearby that was going to be taken down. The type of homes I love, from the 30's, very Spanish classic with stone walls, high ceilings, big windows. In fact it's just a few blocks from where I live, across the supermarket I go to.
She had a friend who had a friend who was the owner and had just sold it. The idea was to see it before it was demolished.
While there we came across some clothing in the closets, it was all men's vintage clothing, from the 60s to the 70's.
She called the owner and asked if he wanted the clothes and he replied they could be tossed. Of course as you can imagine the hoarder in me became active.
I took all of these in 4 big black garbage bags, drove to the closest laundromat and had them washed twice. Then I got home, did a quick selection and chose which ones I was to keep and re sell.
One of the garments was this 1970's men's printed shirt by Christian Dior. Today is my first time wearing it. I was supposed to sell it, but you can imagine how that went ;)

Oh, wow! What a bonanza for you! That is a stunner and with dagger collars being on trend, you are right there.
So sad about the house, but what a find for you!
Wow, this is super combination with rust cardigan. Absolutely love 100% whole. +++ (...) Off-topic: I am afraid that fashion will be not popular trend/topic in next a few months at last (if not a year). I see that my statictics drops week by week, people afraid of theirs workplaces and focused on basic needs. I think it will be difficult to back to the past level of concumption. It will be difficult time to all shops/manufacturers. But in fact it was too inflated, we don't need so many things. iIt's time to make it real. Maybe it is time to blogs which show ideas how to wear without buying new items.
That is a heck of a find! Good for you. It is an amazing shirt. I love the vintage style and colors. You styled it perfectly, too. Thanks for linking up.
