I remember when I spotted this vintage two piece set. I gasped when I read the label: Romeo Gigli.
Along with Roberto Cavalli, Romero Gigli was one of the designers I had the opportunity to work for in the fragrance industry. So I jumped at the idea of finally owning one of Gigli's designs and purchased it.
It had been hanging in the closet for over a year, I figured that the fact that the fabric is tie dye like and that it has a see through hem make it currently on trend, not that I care much, but today is its debut.

it's a beautiful skirt suit set on you and it's so nice that it has so much meaning to you! You've made me think now, I have a old polka dot mesh pencil skirt I've been wearing for years - I figured the polka dots were a classic but I never thought about the mesh looking off trend. I think just wear what you want anyway! :)

I gasped when I saw this!! Romeo Gigli! Did you know that Alexander McQueen used to cut for him? I know you don't have much time, but it would be fun to find the season that this suit came out in on Vogue. Their archives are amazing. I would wear this in a heartbeat, Lorena!
Great shoes - the clear heel is so fun.
