I picked up this blouse a few months ago and totally forgot about documenting its purchase. Regardless I have been wearing and re wearing it, trying to make it work. After today's outfit I just gave up. I do not like to have to layer garments that are see through, the tassel scarf is gorgeous and luxe and also super heavy.
I admit to having mixed feelings on letting it go, as it was such a great find, I love the fabric and the color but I cannot keep an item that I need to "make work". I cannot be working for a garment.

That blouse is so pretty! I love the color. I hate when I buy pieces that are really great but can't style them in a way I like or they have annoying quirks like NEEDING layers. (I do think this outfit looks good though!)

It is a beautiful blouse on you and I really like the sash tied as a belt here! But I agree, if something is fussy or difficult to style it doesn't stay long in my wardrobe! I ended up getting rid of anything sheer a while back, if I have to layer something under it it really limits when I can wear it with the humidity here!

I agree, if you need to make it work then it's just not working. But I will say that you look fantastic in burgundy. Cute nails, too!

I love that blouse! I would buy that in a heartbeat if I found it. OMG, the tassel!
It is very pretty and the tassels are so unique! Though I suppose if it's too hard to wear, then you will never really love it as you should.
