Fashion faux pas or not? That is the question I googled right after typing "wearing black tights with nude heels".
I needed some type of reassurance prior to heading out the door because it was something I had not worn before and because I had no other shoe choice as my black pumps would have killed me if I stood in them for at least 4 hours, while these nude ones would not. Flats were not an option.
From what I read on Google there are two sides: one that think its horrid and another that says its ok.
What do you say?

I think you have to go with your gut on this. If there was no other bronzy-beige colour in the outfit, then I'd be thinking, "noooooo", but you have the pearly sating Peter Pan collar, so that gives you a "bookend" effect. This works for me. The neutral silver bag is aces.
It works for me in this instance, personally. I'm also mildly obsessed with that awesome dress!

I like a outfit like this!
I think it works, although I have doubts sometimes about shoes with tights. It's not something that I wear often, there's only a few months of the year that are tights weather here really, so sometimes I second guess myself.
I think it really works in this outfit, especially with the statement neckline as Sheila pointed out.
