House 21

Green sleeveless silk dress J. Jill, think this might be more flattering
Harriet Tote bag See by Chloe, another version in same color
Flats Bimba & Lola, similar
Red and gold spheres necklace
This is house #21, I went pass it today as I do most Saturdays. This time I stopped for pictures, this is usually not possible as there is always a car parked in front.

When I saw the pictures and said to myself "you have so many other garments in the closet, why are you wearing this dress? It is unflattering, washes you out and it has a small stain"

After pictures I went home, removed this dress, washed it and sent it to the donation pile.

What was your last immediate edit? The one you just could not wait to get home, remove and never see again?

I'm glad to hear you donated this dress - it's not a good colour or cut, and you're right, you have so many other dresses that look SO much better!

The last immediate donate was...that white Theory blouse. Put it on, went "NOPE" and gave it away.

I haven't done the wear then donate thing for a while. I had one top I wore recently I was on the fence with that I'm definitely going to get rid of now, but I didn't have the confidence to do that after I wore it last time. It was only when I ruined a top I loved and wished it had been the other top that I realised there was no point keeping that one in my wardrobe!

Hope that you have been having a lovely week and you have a great weekend ahead of you! :)

I find that my photos tell me so much more than my mirror---it's amazing, isn't it?

Ha ha, it's not so bad, is it an old one? But since you didn't like it anymore the donation was the best choice!

Oh very interesting post!

Great that you shared a dress you weren't crazy about and then shared your decision to unload it. I've got lots of things in my closet that don't belong there. You're a good role model!

I'm terrible for keeping clothes for gardening, painting etc. I'd be staining my floors in that dress haha ;O) xx
