The day I bought this dress I was in Bogota, in a late night mall visit. I recall being in the store for at least an hour and going into the dressing room with at least half a dozen items. None of them worked and this dress kind of did. It was gingham, also had ruffles and pockets. So I tried it on twice. The fabric was thin and see through which is something that I pay attention to. Figured wearing a full slip underneath would correct that. Today I forgot to wear that slip and it showed. The idea of buying a garment that requires any special effort in wearing is something I shy away from. Because clothes should work for me, not the other way around. Even though I am aware of this I keep buying items that do require that extra effort... like this dress! Because I fear I'll regret not buying it after I am back home. IS this a common occurrence for you, regret leaving an item in the store?

As I seldom buy IRL this happens not often too me. But it happens I regret I setd back items I ordered online ... Your dress is a good purchase and don't worry yesterday I wore also a dress at work that was see through :) ´

It's so frustrating that lining a dress isn't the norm anymore, and yet slips are really hard to find! Any garment that takes too much other things to make it work isn't worth it to me unless it's really special. Example, I'm wearing a Comrags dress today - not lined, but at least I have lots of vintage slips. And it's a really cool, amazing dress, so it was worth it to me.

This is a very pretty dress on you, Lorena. Do you think you will keep it?

I do like the dress on you, especially with the statement necklace! But slips to go under dresses are hard to find and I've gotten rid of most of my pieces that needed something underneath! It's just too hot and humid to layer like that here most of the year!

Sometimes I think about things I left behind, but in the end I eventually forget about them! :)

Hope that you are having a lovely week and you have a good weekend ahead of you :)
