I am such a fan of flat lays. These idealise color combinations, make you think anything will look good on you and make you sigh. Then you try it on and the truth is revealed: it does not work. This pretty much describes today's outfit. If this look could be saved it would be by removing these trousers, they did not look good. The best or worst part of it all was that I thought it looked good, until I saw the pictures.

I like this look overall, but I'm still not a fan of these pants. I think you have better ones. I have outfits like this too - I love them until I see the pictures.

I love all the items but for that look Maybe if you took the jacket off I think it would look even more beautiful. I love the jacket too but I wonder if without it you might have liked it better. Happy day beautiful. Great post. xoxo Cris

I bet it looked better in person, because you can see in the flat lay, that the pants have enough blue to pull it all together so nicely. Yet in the photos, for some reason the blue doesn't stand out. So I think it's NOT a fail--it's the lighting....

I like this outfit! :)

I always prefer the actual outfit to flatlays, it's easier to see how everything works together. I've had that moment where I've thought an outfit looked good and then I've seen the photos after and changed my mind, haha! Happens to us all I think!

Pienso que quizás te hubiese quedado mejor con una camisa blanca de botones y no metida por dentro del pantalón. Eso mismo me pasa a mí muchas veces, en mi cabeza funciona, pero en la práctica no tanto.

You are 100% right about flat lays. Things look different on then they do on the floor! But that said, I don't hate this outfit nor would I think it a fail.

Flat lays can be a little bit deceiving but I think the outfit does looks good!
