I remember how much I loved this blue top from Zara when I saw it on sale sometime in 2014. For just 12.99 USD I took it home and thought of the many, many ways I would wear it. Well, guess what? I only wore it five times in four years. Just five times, total cost per wear of 2.60 USD. The clingy fabric did not stand up to the washing machine and I could not find different ways of wearing it and it got boring. See below how it was worn before. How else would you have worn it ?

Sometimes a pieces didn't held what it seems to promise when bought ... But I think you made the best combinations already with that top, dear Lorean!

I hate when that happens, I think I'm going to wear something so many ways and then it just sits in my closet. I still really like that top though, I think you could wear it with regular jeans too for weekend wear

I think it looks nice all the ways you've worn it! How something feels is so important though. I've found tracking my purchases and how often I wear them through the blog has been really interesting as I see how some things I think will be really versatile aren't worn that often! I'm hoping it helps me be pickier with what I buy so I only get pieces I will really wear, and so far I think that's the case :)
