November edits

The slower I edit, the more aware I become that I cannot stop. Here's what left the closet in November.

Koaj burgundy tassel loafers, just 10 wears in 4 years.
Purchased in October 2013, CWP  2.66 USD.

White sleeveless Bizz ruffle top, I had mixed feelings on letting go, but it was really worn out, worn on the blog at least six times. This lavender sheer top has been around since at least 2010. Worn just four times in seven years, it was sheer and the elastic on the sleeves loosened.
This cream sleeveless lo hi top from Zara was thrifted in October, after two wears I realised it was not a keeper (cpw 1.07 USD). This grey sweater from Zara was purchased in 2014 for 10.70 USD, it was piling, maybe because it had at least 13 wears!

Four sunglasses were damaged this month, as I write this post I still cannot believe it.

A pair of teal Kenneth Cole sunglasses, purchased for 12.99 USD in March 2014, 58 wears, CPW 0.23 cents. That same month I also purchased a pair of Swell suede sunglasses for 16.19 USD, while I did not count how many times they were worn I am pretty sure I took the cpw to cents as I loved this pair and am actually looking for a replacement.

Another damaged pair was my oversized purple sunglasses, purchased in October 2014 for 1.07 USD at the Dollar store, I am sure I got these to pennies per wear. Finally a pair of brown Tommy Hilfiger sunglasses purchased in September 2012 for 9.99 USD. These brown ones were worn the most, they will be missed.

9 items this month.

Green Mickey Mouse bag, other Mickey bags here, here and here - Red acrylic flower necklace

I built this outfit around this Mickey Mouse bag I've had forever, yet I had not worn in at least 8 years. I had been thinking about getting rid of it but I thought it was a fun addition to a rather simple look and besides, who doesn't love Mickey ? You ever been to Disney ? I haven't-
Has estado en Disney ? Yo no-

Blue heels Charles Jourdan, similar here - Black tote bag Roberto Cavalli
It was not until I uploaded these pictures that I realised that I had paired two items that cost solely 1.00 USD each. These are very likely the most inexpensive top and skirt I own. What was the last item you bought for a dollar ?
No fue hasta que vi las fotos que me realicé que había usado dos piezas de ropa que sólo habían costado un dólar cada una. Creo que son la falda y blusa mas económicas que tengo. ¿ Cuál fue la última pieza que compraste por un dólar ?

Not a fan

Black trousers - White sleeveless shirt Intrigue - Black window pane blazer Forever 21, similar for 20.00 USD
Bow burgundy flats Isola, similar - Black tote bag Roberto Cavalli

If you have been around for a while you know I am the first to criticise my own outfit. Of today's look, well I can say I am not a fan. I did not give this too much thought, I just wanted garments that actually fit. Because, yes I have to admit that many of my clothes are either tight or just do not fit at all...

What's in my wallet

The other day I read this post and was inspired to check out my own wallet. This one has been around for ages, it was purchased in NYC at least 10 years ago.
A feature my wallet must have is a separate place for coins. I do not require a space for a check book, I keep a blank check or two just in case of need.
The item I have kept the longest in my wallet is a 2.00 USD bill that my grandfather kept in his own wallet.
As you can see I have the very basics in the wallet, cash, coins, id card, driver's license, ATM, metro card and such. A few receipts and an unexpected paper clip. Honestly speaking, it usually has a lot more receipts but I cleaned it about a week ago.
What's in your wallet ?

I was reviewing my 2017 purchases as its almost the end of the year. To my surprise the most I spent on a single item -so far- this year was 50.00 USD and it was a teal blouse made in France. How about you? What was your splurge of the year - so far ?
