Pencil skirt revisited

Black pencil skirt Apt. 9, almost identical here  - Black ruffle neck shirt Natural Exchange, similar with smaller ruffle here
Black block heel double strap Mary Janes from Bata, similar here and a kick ass Jimmy Choo option here -
Houndstooth print handbag, love this one from Dooney & Burke

It had been a while since I had worn any of my pencil skirts, it turned out to be a terrible choice of wear.  Not just the skirt, but the entire outfit as there was no air conditioning in the office and it was 36 degrees outside...

I like the outfit overall - I think you look chic, but I understand it not being weather-appropriate.

I spent all weekend looking for a gorgeous pencil skirt and didn't find one that I wanted, after seeing this post I'll keep searching because you look stunning!

¡Hola, Lorena! Sin aire acondicionado en la oficina y a 36 grados cualquier ropa que te pongas es mala opción jajaja Te veo guapísima de negro y revisitando la falda lápiz, te sienta de maravilla!

Besos y feliz semana,

This is a lovely outfit, but I know exactly that feeling where you feel great when you leave the house and then the weather hits and you realise you would feel much more comfortable in anything else! At least you have a go-to outfit for a cooler day now!

Hope you had a lovely weekend!

Sorry it was so hot, but I do think this ruffle top looks amazing on you.

Hi Lorena. This is just the kind of outfit which I describe "simple but impressive". Dark classic dress and 1-2 accesories, that's all - and You look very good. It is the best way - receipt how to look good and dress up fast :)

I haven't worn my pencil skirts in while, but the look is classic and lovely. It's 36° here too.... only farenheit. I'll trade?
