Bib & Puffy

Sometimes I chose to wear a garment because of the oddest reason. Today, for example, I am wearing a vintage puffy sleeve lace bib blouse. Why this choice ? Well first of all since I am in a shopping ban I've been going through the closet searching for the unworn. This blouse is in the unworn category. Also, it hangs next to other white shirts, blouses and tees and its beginning to look a little yellow.  So before it gets really yellow I thought I'd wear it ;)  Odd choice, but I have to admit it was a great piece to wear, regardless of the reason.

I like the bib detail. It may be vintage but it is back in style.

That is a fun blouse, I love the lace stripes most of all, and I'm glad that the ban inspired you to take it out again.

This look is so darling - like a modern Audrey Hepburn! I like how the pieces are voluminous and create interesting proportions, but you kept the palette simple and chic.

That's a pretty vintage top! I like how a ban makes you reassess your wardrobe and get more wear out of pieces you'd previously ignored! I was thinking it looked nice with your skirt too then I read they were culottes, haha!

Hey, I am on a shopping ban too! I am not supposed to buy any clothes or shoes for the entire month of February. So far so good, but sometimes it is hard.
