If you have been around for a while you know that I have special appreciation of old buildings. This house is 4 streets away from where I live and I'm pretty sure that it will be torn down soon to make space for a skyscraper.
I believe that in general older structures, cars, vintage garments, home wares, it was all made to last at least a lifetime. Quality could be seen and touched and it was not a luxury, it was just the pride and craftsmanship behind the company making it.  Nowadays, it's just what it is and undoubtedly I have that nostalgic feeling that things were better before..

First of all - I cant believe that You have so warm weather condition. I am sure that I was born in bad part of Europe ;( I love sun and hot!!! Today in Poland is -1 and in Saturday will be -10! (...) This boho blouse is GREAT, I think it would be look greater with light shorts (very light beige or ivory). (...) Yes, I also have large sentiment to old buildings, in Poland and other countries. In last years in my town disapper a lot of great architure old buildings because investors prefer to build new one in that plot. Old buildings is tricky to heat in winter, they have smaller rooms and sometimes small windows (not to much light inside). And therefore I started making the photos to all unique old buildings, although to have commemorative photo :(

Beautiful tunic top! :)

Shame about the building - it is pretty and so nice to have that history, will be sad if they knock it down. They have been building a lot of apartments here too. It makes house hunting difficult as they keep knocking them down for apartments!

Hope you are having a wonderful start to the year and the first week of 2017 is going well!

It always makes me sad to hear an old building will be demolished. One of the things I dislike about my country, is how nothing is old, and new things aren't built to last.
