About twenty

I went through my accessories and came across this
beaded necklace I chose to wear today.
Green silk dress J. Jill - Grey flats Zara
This necklace has been around forever,
maybe twenty years.
I know, I was so surprised.
It's lost a few beads here at there, but it's still around !
That's gotta count for something.

It looks great with your dress. Definitely a keeper.

I love your surprised face, and I love this dress on you. It's nice when an old treasure can still be worn.

that necklace doesn't look 20 years old, looks so modern! :) It's very nice with your dress too :)

I do have a few vintage pieces but they haven't held up very well. I started wearing this beautiful vintage gold necklace, and then it snapped one day and I put it aside to get it fixed...and I've never been able to find it since :( Sad to lose such a piece of history!

It's a great necklace - and looks brilliant paired with that dress.

I remember this look from about 1996 - we wore these long necklaces over crocheted tops and "broomstick" skirts (long crinkly skirts). Ha! It looks great!

It definitely counts for something. I have a few accessories that I got back in the 90s and still wear them to this day as well. There's something really beautiful about knowing so much of your own personal history has shared a ride with a particular accessory or garment.
