Taking a hike

If you have been around for a while, you should know by now that I am not the sporty type.

Gap jeans - Stradivarius chambray shirt - Save the Twinkie tshirt - H&M sneakers
Something I am not proud of but admit to.

So, it was quite the challenge when I had the opportunity to do a
hike in the rainforest to find the "three waterfalls".

First of all I was not dressed for the activity, but I had not packed
with hiking in mind.

So I showed up to the trail in jeans and a backpack
with healthy foods and plenty of water..

Oh, and a raincoat that came in really handy!

It was a 3 hour walk, in a signalised muddy trail - a lot of it was uphill.

For a moment I thought I was going to pass out - due to the lack
of oxygen, which only confirmed how truly out shape I am.

At the end of the hike, I fell on my ass :)

Beautiful pictures. It's nice to be in nature. As long as you don't fall down!

I just realized that although I've put you on my Bloglovin list twice, it isn't showing me your posts. I've got to fix this. I miss visiting your blog.

ha! i am not athletic either! it looks like such a gorgeous place to hike, but too bad it is all uphill. hahahah! i prefer hikes that don't involve hills because i am lazy and out of shape!

hope you were not hurt when you fell!

Those walls/cliff faces are seriously cool! I wonder what the geological term is for when they are shaped like that? I've never seen ones quite like them before.

I think you did great Lorena! Your outfit protected you from the bugs and elements. It's gorgeous.

Ouch hope it wasn't a big fall!

Gorgeous photos though - I'm sure the hike was worth it :)

Yes, but you did make it to the waterfall, which is the important part - and you made it back again too, since you were able to write this post. So don't be too hard on yourself. Like you say, there is always room for improvement.

Hahaha congratulations on surviving the hike!! I am not a very outdoorsy person either, so I felt pretty much the same way last year when my brother forced me to go hiking to a waterfall. I almost DIED! Hahah, just kidding. Congrats Lorena!
