Pink Turtleneck

When I was packing for my weekend away,
I thought it would be a good idea to take along my pink
Merona turtleneck sweater.

Black trousers H&M - Pink turtleneck sweater Merona - Black flats Jessica Simpson
I imagined pairing it with some black cropped trousers and that would somehow
give me an Audrey Hepburn feel and look.

The feel and look were quite the opposite and could only confirm I
am letting the sweater go.

You just have to admit when some garments do not fit you well.

I hear you. Because of my odd shape, many items don't fit me right and I was clinging to them for sentimental reason. Now I know to get rid of them. You do, however, look good in these colors. They highlight your natural femininity.

Yea...I hate when pieces don't fit the way I see them in my head. I have a few pieces like that too. I picture them looking better than they do. But I don't think it looks bad, but we are always harder on ourselves, aren't we?

I think you look really cute - there is a great Audrey Hepburn vibe at work in this outfit, thanks especially to the straight legged black pants and black flats.

I had a couple of tops like that and I could never get into them. So I gave them away a couple of years ago.

I can see the Audrey inspiration - but as someone who dislikes sleeveless turtlenecks as a rule, I support your decision.

I do like the Audrey Hepburn vibe. She is one of my favorite style icons. But if something doesn't fit right, or if I am uncomfortable wearing it, it has to go.
