While growing up Liz Claiborne was a great quality,
expensive brand that was trendy and desired.
Jeans Liz Claiborne - Blue and white polka dot sweater Liz Claiborne - Innovativi wedges - Blue bag Zara |
It was also a brand for older women.
Brown sunglasses Michael Kors - Silk bracelet Turkey |
So you can imagine my mixed feelings.
Times change.
Here I am wearing two Liz Claiborne items from JCP, both reasonably priced.
LC is no longer that expensive brand.
Garments seem to be of good quality, which I guess is something they have not compromised.
Then there comes the part where I wonder if the brand
is still for older women and now I am just getting older and now
it suits me ;)

Love that polka dot top! :)
I think you can find items from many different brands - even if you aren't the target market. No use limiting what you wear or where you shop, if you like the items. Plus these look great on you! :)
Away From The Blue
I'm with Mica - It's all about how you wear it!
It's a brand of elegant not older women and those jeans fit like glove to your body.
No, I'm sure the youth of today would wear the polka dot sweater... but hey I also sometimes wear legitimate old lady clothes I pick up at the thrift store.
Chic on the Cheap
I love Liz Clairborne's offerings, past and present - for the most part at least. There's a classic, subtly preppy vibe to many of them that appeals to me to no end. I haven't owned too many (yet) over the years, but those that I have were loved and worn until they were practically threadbare.
