Bright and basic

I picked basics and color when putting this outfit together.
I was totally convinced and it seemed the way to go, until....

Black trousers Charter Club - Basic Editions yellow tank top - H&M grey cardigan - Zapatinho de Luxo pink pumps -
Tous black leather bag - Forever 21 pearl necklace
I walk out the door and get on the elevator to go to work.
The elevator stops on the 16th floor and a girl walks in.
She is wearing a one color block in nice soft mauve.
Suddenly I feel odd, I second guess my choices.

Am I too colorful ?
Maybe I should have gone all black and only kept the bright shoes.
I just hate it when that happens.

NO! I love this outfit, Lorena! You look young and fresh and the pops of colour are perfect.

We can't judge ourselves against other people. Wear what you love and feel good in - and accept that other people will also look good, in different outfits.

Cómo me gusta esa chaquetita gris tipo me-va-con-todo jajaja
Y el collar me parece muy original combinando perlas con los colorines.
Últimamente me ha dado por los collares y me fijo en todos jajaja

Pssssh - I think you look fabulous and definitely "of the moment" with your bright pops of color. Mauve reminds me of The Golden Girls. :)

This is NOT too colorful--I love the combo of grey and yellow. Pretend you didn't see the girl on the elevator.

I love the colours in this outfit - the yellow and pink pair perfectly with the grey! :)

The wonderful thing about fashion is that you can rock this colourful look today - and tomorrow you can wear one block colour if you want! :) You definitely don't need to second guess your choices!

No girly, you are JUST BRIGHT ENOUGH in my book. I love that color (that gorgeous hot pink) of your shoes, I had to have a lipstick in it. Till I found the perfect shade it was war for me. I wish I had shoes, a scarf, a cardigan and a dress in this lovely, girly pink. Love your necklace, too. =)

Stop by to see what's new with me. Hugs <3 Ada.

No, I think this is cool and unexpected! I especially love the grey against the yellow.
