The only reason I wish to live in a house
is just because I would have a garden.

I live in an apartment, that has a tiny balcony where I have decided to grow,
against all odds, in a small planter a vine called thunbergia laurifolia.
It's the big flowered light purple one in the back.
It's been less than a year since I planted it and it's already climbing up the wall.
One of the first things I do every morning when I wake up is go to the balcony,
water it and just stare at the flowers ....

The flowers look like something also called clematis.
And the first thing I do in the morning is drink a cup of coffee!

the first thing i do in the morning is groan. and then i pet a cat or two and stagger out of bed and try to face the day. i am NOT a morning person.

The first thing I do after turning off the alarm is check my email. Awful, I know, but I use my phone as my alarm so there it is, in my hand...
But right after that I say good morning to chloe and rub her belly.

Beautiful flowers and dress. Hmm me I open the door to the garden (Im lucky I have one)and let the dogs out then make a coffee and toast and get the dogs food ready lol xx
I usually check my children, unless they're up before me...
I love this! I love having my house for that very reason...all the cool things I can plant. I spend a lot of time staring off at my flowers, see how much has changed overnight. And to my surprise, sometimes a lot does.
First thing I do in the morning is walk the pups. It really wakes me up quickly. They are full of energy.
