Product Review: Sally Hansen's Nail strips

I had been looking at the magazine ads
for quite some time now.
Then I perused over reviews on line and
I just had to try the Sally Hansen nail strips.

I started applying them on Friday night and ended on Saturday morning.
It was not as simple as I expected.
Ok, so I took a long time.
I read the instructions over and over to make sure I got it right.
They are NOT that easy to apply.
I got little lumps when applying mine.
Also you are supposed to "file away" all the remaining strip.
However it's not that easy, you have to be at it for a while.
Plus you have to be careful you don't peel off the strip
you just applied.
I wore them for 7 days straight.
They were in perfect shape - except for one nail.
I think it was because of the fact that I did not apply it that well.

I removed them with regular nail polish remover and it took me a second.
It was really easy to remove.
I took them off because I had to travel for work and they
did not project the image I was looking for....

However I think they would have lasted at least 3 more days.

I have a couple more of nail strips so I will be wearing them again
in the near future.

Have you tried this product ?

I tried the hot pink color and it reminded me of a hot pink flourescent highlighter, LOL! The polish lasted for about 5 days before chipping. I guess that's better than some nail polish out there though. Also, the box only has 18 strips, so you can't even use it twice. It took me longer to apply than I thought also. I don't think I will be trying these again.

I haven't tried them before but they sound good if they could have lasted 10 days! One of my pet hates is chipped nail polish so these would save me loads of time :)

I haven't tried them yet. They seem a little on the high price end for me, and just as much effort as applying nail polish since i do that pretty regularly anyway. Is there enough in the box for two applications? That would probably make it worth it...

I saw it advertised in a magazine - I would try it, but not if it's that difficult!
