Too Old to be a Bridesmaid ?

Last year I was asked to be a bridesmaid
for a wedding this coming April.
First I was totally flattered that I was even considered
and then I said to the bride-to-be,
"I think I am a little old for that".
Honestly speaking last time I was part of the wedding
court I was 14 years old !
So, time has passed and even though at the time I agreed
on being a bridesmaid, I thought maybe she picked someone else...
Well no, last week I was included in
the Facebook page for bridesmaids meeting so
we can get measured and have dresses made
The color is purple, which I think will look fabulous
but I am not too sure about which model to pick,
these are my favorites:

So, what do you think ?
Which one would you pick?
Remember the color is purple !

Wow! They're all beautiful. The first, third and fourth are especially nice.

We're never too old to do anything fun and I think you might enjoy this. Go for it!

You get to choose the dress?? That is awesome. I'd go for #3 if the waist band would be purple as well (or black).

Hello thanks for the comment on my blog, there will be loads more post of the coming weeks with China photos as we took so many! It is such an amazing country and we loved it there. The fruit and veggie drinks were ok, lol. I had the purple one as I figured it was grape until I read all the ingredients and kinda freaked out, lol. My husband had the orange one which was nicer as it tasted more of fruit, like mango and pineapple.

On the bridesmaid dress front, I am also being a bridesmaid this year and the colour is also purple and we get to choose our own styles as well, but only for the top of the dress. I think number 1 and 3 are the nicest but it depends on how comfortable you feel with strapless as I hate strapless tops on me so will be opting for something with straps.

I like the second-to-last one - it looks like it's the drapiest one. I don't like the one with the one strap - it's too trendy.

The fabrics on all the others look too stiff and prom-ish.

And you're never too old to be in a wedding! I would love to be a bridesmaid again. :)

Wow! I'm surprised to read the other comments because my favorite is the second dress! I like the fact that it doesn't have a contrasting waistband.

Oh my gosh, sooo difficult to choose! They're all absolutely gorgeous! I guess I'd go with No. 3 - I love the neckline and the sash belt.

You arise beauteous in the horizon of the heavens
Oh living Aten who creates life.
When you shine forth in the Eastern horizon you fill every land with your beauty.
You are so beautiful: you are great; gleaming and high over every land.
Your rays embrace the lands and all you have created;
You are Re and reach out to all your creations, and hold them for your beloved Son.
You are afar, but your rays touch the earth;
Men see you, but know not your ways.

Thanks...wonderful girl!

anywhoo, these dresses look pretty good! j crew also has cute ones.

i kind of like the belted ones (whoops -- are they all belted?), but i hate that pink belt at the top.
