I would hate for someone to look at my shoes and say
"Oh My God that looks so comfortable"
Ch. Louboutin
That is what everyone says when they see me wear these shoes.
"Look so comfy"
These black suede, size 6 MISS ME flats,
were given to me by my H.
But,
Hell they are !
They make me suffer and I keep giving them opportunities.
Just like a bad old boyfriend. Hoping they will change.
I tell myself that the moment I give them away I will immediately
grab for them, need them.
These shoes will no longer torture me.
I am sending them away:
"You go now, torture someone else"
Do you hold on to things that do you no good ?

Hahah, I do have a few shoes that aren't the most comfortable, but I keep wearing them in the hopes that they will stretch or bend or do whatever they need to, to start cradling my feet and stop punishing them.
Chic on the Cheap
I have one pair of boots that I have kept for years, they are in perfect condition and look beautiful but they are no good to wear whatsoever, they are so incredibly uncomfortable. Really I should sell or donate them and I dont know why I hang on to them xx
Great quote! I love it. I have found the older I get, the less tolerance I have for things that just don't work for whatever reason. I used to hold on to stuff forever, hoping they would change? (Loving your metaphor about an old boyfriend, it's so true.) I don't do it anymore. I cut my losses and move on. (Should've done that in relationships in my early 20s, haha.)
Yes - sometimes (like th eold boyfriend) they just look too good to get rid of even if they hurt.
I do hang onto (particularly) shoes that rub or hurt my feet, but I don't wear them much!
Sadly, I do. I keep shoes that hurt, jeans that don't flatter, even hair products that don't work for me. But when I do finally 'break up' with them, I feel great!
Bummer about those shoes!
