I own 3 white dresses.
One with sleeves and the other 2 are similar to the one below.
This dress (gift from mom) has been around for about 2 years.
I like it but, I know it is NOT flattering, so this might be its last ride with me.
Check it out... what do you think ?
Keep or pass on ?
It has different fabrics... and no shape around the waist area...
Today I wore it with a blue jacket to work and a hat...
- White dress (no brand)
- Blue and white stripe jacket Forever 21
- Blue, red and white shoes Lela Rose for Payless
- Grey patent tote bag by Arena
- Red Chanel-esque sunglasses

Lorena the dress looks lovely with the jacket and that hat.. its a lovely balance.
I like that you wore the dress with a jacket, since the top is a little too peekaboo for work without a cami IMO. I think it's cute- and no-one has to have EVERY article of clothing in their closet something that fits perfectly and flatters. Personally, if I had that dress, I would wear it around in the summer (except work) quite a bit.
I actually didn't love the dress on you until I saw it with the jacket. You're right, it doesn't have much of a shape, but the jacket gives you more of a waist. I love the hat!
I don't love the dress on its own at all - the waistline is not flattering, nor are the horizontal seams! It looks like underwear.
BUT, on the plus side, you love it and it's a super layering piece...but is it too warm where you live to really layer it very much? Like, with a skirt over it so that the hem peeks out, or with a men's style vest buttoned up over it?
I love the hat!
I agree with the others. On its own the dress needs something - maybe a belt but with the jacket it looks sensational.
I don´t think it fits you bad at all. Keep wearing.

I would pass on. The trim above and below your hips hit you at the wrong spots and don't flatter you like they should.
I do like it with the jacket and hat, so when you find another white cotton dress like this, wear those with it!
