So I am on the hunt for a new job. Had an interview and left 30 minutes early, meaning I would be there at 4:45 pm, the interview being at 5:00 pm. The traffic was crazy, it was 4:50 pm and I had not arrived. I panicked, dropped the car off at the nearest parking lot and walked. Got there at 5:07 pm.

Have you ever been late to an interview? Did you get the job?

You certainly looked the part even if you were a little late!

My first job out of school I was late to the interview - there was bad traffic and I called my dad in tears as I wasn't sure if I should get off the bus and walk the rest of the way or wait for the traffic to clear. He got me the number for the office (pre smart phones and I hadn't saved it in my phone) and I called to tell them I was running late and why. I think in the end I was 15 minutes late but they were impressed I'd called ahead and they could clearly see I'd got off the bus early and ran, haha! Plus the traffic issues were easily visible if they looked outside! I was happy working there! :)

Hope that you are having a lovely weekend :)

I like this suit, I dont see the details but it looks as I like to be. And this MD shirt is perfect here. The belt too :) (...) All my life I work in home (layouts, arch. designs), my last new "job" was fashion blog :D

Oh no, that is the worst! Being late for a job interview. But it can happen to anyone. I love your classic black suit for the interview. Did it go well even though you were a few minutes late?
