Worn out

Black cropped trousers Mossimo, similar  - Burberry button shirt, similar

Black flats Parfois - Caramel Marc by Marc Jacobs Natasha hand bag

Brown sunglasses Michael Kors
After a time consuming not fructiferous attempt at dyeing my not-so-black-anymore items I gave the trousers one last wear. As you can see compared to the shoes they did not turn out as expected.

These are one of my favourite cropped trousers, in fact I liked them so much that I bought two identical pairs back in 2016.

Between the two pairs I've worn them about 61 times, about 2.50 USD a wear. I have not found a replacement for these yet, but I kept the other pair, even though its worn out too.

Are you holding on to a worn out or faded item? If so what is it?

It's a shame that you couldn't restore the pants, I hope you find a nice replacement pair! :) I recently noticed one of my tops has a small hole in the back but I love it too much to give up on it so I'll see if my mum can fix it - I have no skills with sewing, haha!

Hope that your week is off to a great start! Going to be a busy one here with lots of fun Christmas events :)

A good pair of black pants is worth it's weight in gold. I think have at least 5 pairs, lol!

I only own one pair of black trousers and they are leather! No fading there!

Sorry to hear that these have worn out on you, Lorena - the colour is definitely not black anymore. Time for a new pair! Maybe you'll find a pair you like even more, maybe a wide-legged pair??

I can't think of a single item that I have that is faded or really worn out - I tend to let them go at that point, although sometimes that's hard to do.
