Vintage Brioni

Black trousers - Black tank top

Repurposed Vest Brioni, similar - Flower print block heel shoe Zara

Off white quilted hand bag Dooney & Bourke, similar

Vintage Givenchy key pin, another fab option here

This long vest was very likely a man's jacket once. Along the way someone removed the sleeves and turned it into a sleeveless jacket. Slick move. Today, after spotting it in a second hand shop in Buenos Aires, I am wearing it to work with my new to me vintage Givenchy key pin, also from the same shop in Argentina.
Oh, the life clothes can have if you only give them a second chance.

I love the Givenchy key brooch. I'm not huge on the jacket-converted-to-vest - the colour, the boxiness...it's just not quite there, and it covers you up a bit too much. However, you always look so chic and stylish, Lorena!

What a fun idea to change up the look of a jacket! It does make a really nice classic vest and I like that pin on it! :)

I just posted my weekday wear linkup, I'd love you to join! :)

Hope that your week is off to a great start!

I've done that to a jacket a couple of times. It's an easy fix especially when the sleeves get stained!!

What a lovely classic piece! If only it could tell stories of the places it's been!
