Green Shirt dress

Green shirt dress Diane Von Furstenberg, similar - Silver block heel shoes SM, similar

Quilted off white hand bag Dooney & Bourke, similar in tan

Green three layer necklace, similar

DVF is usually known for her wrap dresses. However, I've yet to find one, try in on and have it actually fit well
Through the years I've tried at least half a dozen DFV wrap dresses and my boobs are usually left uncovered, a good reason not to buy a dress.
When I came across this green shirt dress also by DVF I loved the color but was not sold on the price. I let weeks go by and when I saw it went on sale I took the plunge, I have to admit I love it.

Have you ever tried on a DVF wrap dress?

I had a few DVF wrap dresses but they weren't the best quality as I got them second hand, so in my big wardrobe detox with the stylist they left my wardrobe! The price puts me off getting any more now, haha! I'm on a very different budget with kids!

This is such a nice dress on you though, I love that colour of green on you! :)

Hope that your week is going well :)

I have a DVF wrap dress that I have to be at my absolute skinniest to wear (I have not yet worn it this summer!). Yes, they tend to gape open at the boobs - I always wear mine with a camisole underneath.

I love this green on you - what a great colour! I suspect this had a matching tie belt at one time.

That bag is fabulous!

I like to feel more covered too so sometimes wrap dresses are a no-go for me. This shirt dress you found is beautiful!

Love this shirtwaist dress and color on you! This style is so versatile, (I think you will definitely get a good cost per wear on this one)! I have a vintage 1970's DVF wrap dress, I have not worn in a while. I will have to get it out and wear it soon! I wear mine with a camisole like Sheila does, so I don't continually fuss with and adjust it. Also, sometimes a strategically placed safety pin will work! Thanks so much for your nice comments on my blog, these flowers are from my garden, but sometimes I take pictures of my neighbor's beautiful flowers, as well. Some of them are very talented gardeners!
