Speaking of Charles

I recently did a shoe edit that I was quite proud of.  First of all because I really loved the shoes and kept putting off the fact that I could no longer wear them and yet look put together because they were all in very rough shape. Secondly because I realized that those four particular pairs of shoes had been a good investment wardrobe wise as I got some amazing cost per wear. For example the bright blue Charles Jourdan Paris heels.

These shoes were purchased in 2015 and over the last 4 years were worn at least 21 documented times, meaning it could even be a bit more. I will not complain at the fab 1.25 USD cost per wear. Below are some of the outfits I wore them with over the last years.

I'll toast to those 1.25 USD CPW!

You killed it on the cost-per-wear on those, Lorena, good job! My own blue pumps are even older (2009? I think), and I also got a ton of wear out of them. A classic blue pump is as essential as a classic red one, I think!

Happy weekend, my dear friend!

I need to do this too. It's hard because from far away you can't always tell they are wearing out. I just took one well loved pair to the shoe repair guy to help with the heels. But sometimes we have to say goodbye. It's hard, but at least they did get tons of love!!

I need Bright blue shoes in my life! I threw away pink and red sandals a few weeks ago because they were worn out! And I had loved them so much!
