I remember the days when having something new basically was three or four times a year. Christmas, birthdays and something you bought in the middle that needed replacement. Fashion was much slower, it allowed you to enjoy those purchases and wear them endlessly. Nowadays it's a totally different story.
When was the last time you wore something new?

I'm terrible...I get "new" things way too often. I'm trying to shop my closet more and more.

I really am loving this satin turquoise bow top on you. I bought something a month ago to wear to an event in May. That's the last real thing that I bought. But I also recently cleaned out my closet and donated about 7 bags worth of clothes/shoes/bags to Goodwill.

Haha, two days ago. You are right, we shop more and appreciate what we have far less, always hungry for something new.
Chic on the Cheap
That is so true now that I think about it! School, birthdays and Christmas were really the only times I got new clothes until I was able to buy my own stuff.
I did wear something new for Easter but I haven't been buying too much new stuff lately. It's a little sad and I miss having something fresh all the time but in the end its better for my closet and bank account, haha
