Necklaces and belts

I've had the idea of writing a post on belts and necklaces on my mind for a while. In my opinion they are key players when it comes to elevating any look.

While I manage to write up that post, for now I just want to share how I skip wearing a blazer and yet remain presentable for work by just adding a belt or necklace to any outfit.

First runner up is a long pearl necklace. I added a great quality long strand pearl necklace to a very basic black trouser and red top look and voilá.

The second example is to add a velvet and tassel obi belt to a plain top, like this burgundy one. It totally defines the outfit without it being stuffy.

Are you a fan of belts and necklaces? Or do you totally disregard them when getting dressed?

Ooh looove the belt in that second look! Definitely elevates the whole look! I don't own many belts so they aren't really a staple for me, but I do love seeing how people style them

That belt looks awesome on you! I always go through all my accessory options with an outfit, from every place I could wear jewelry, to belts and scarves (and coat and hat and gloves!).

I love how small details like that can make such a difference. I especially love that fun belt, and it really adds such a pretty element to that look.

I do like both belts and necklaces. But I usually just wear dainty necklaces and only one belt that's interchangeable. My go-to outfit accessories are sunglasses and hats.

The devil's in the details! Great tips. I am so pushed for time leaving for work (need every minute of sleep I can get!) so I often skip accessories.
