Sometime ago I heard someone say that in order to "clean" or "rest" your eyes, you had to stop and look at the blue ocean or clear sky or at a green filled space like a forest or a mountain for few minutes.
For me, regardless of tired eyes or body, I need to have contact with nature. I enjoy it, even if it leaves blisters, dirt, insect bites and sore limbs.
Nature teaches you to be patient, the best example is in this picture. The lavender flowers in the left backdrop were planted at least 3 years ago, they are supposed to bloom every Easter. My husband kept mocking me and asking every time April came around "where are the flowers?
It was not until this year that the flowers took over the green bush, they were a joy to look at.

Waiting for things to grow and bloom really does patience but it's so rewarding in the end - such beautiful colors!

I'm glad your flowers are finally blooming! They are so beautiful! I love looking out into our yard and seeing the plants. It is so relaxing!
I know what you mean as for me personally it is also very important to have contact with the nature. And so beautiful your regularly blooming flowers. Love also your look with the wonderful blouse.
