Back to Abbeycourt

Black strapless dress Studio F - Black silver buckle patent slides Nine West, similar

Handmade woven tote bag from Paraguay, similar - Silk vintage polka dot scarf Codello, similar

I've taken pictures at Abbeycourt before.
Abbeycourt is the name of this home close to where I live that is now up for sale, I can only wonder how much longer it will be standing in this majestic corner in the middle of the city. I've been wondering the same since I first took pictures there in 2011. Surrounded by other similar homes from the 1930's I am always drawn to it, the fact that its on a main street and yet it has no fence, speaks loudly of the life we have lost.

I've been bemoaning the loss of some of my city's older buildings too - so much development.

Love this simple dress on you!

Love this gorgeous tiered dress on you, Lorena! Abbeycourt looks like a beautiful home, full of charm and personality-the ironwork alone is fantastic! It would be wonderful if the whole block could be preserved by an historic foundation.
