Time of peplum

Pleated blue skirt Adolfo Dominguez, similar - Burgundy peplum top H&M, similar

Vintage navy belt Laurel, similar - Vintage onyx signet ring, almost identical
Butterfly print heels Nine West, similar
While peplum may seem very 2011, to me it's timeless. What trends seem timeless to you?

Timeless? Leopard, plaid of any kind, polka dots, neon, flares, skinny legs, wide legs, dark denim, light denim, dresses, leather, tweed, silk, menswear, every colour under the rainbow. Just to name a few! Peplums definitely fall under the timeless category - I remember them being big in 1986, and of course, before that in the 40s/50s.

It's only the very specific trends that I find look dated over time. Those little puffed sleeves of the mid-00s, the microflorals of the 90s, the giant 80s shoulderpads.

You look gorgeous in this raspberry colour, Lorena!

I think peplum is timeless! It's too friendly on the mum-tum for me to ever consider giving it up, haha!

Love your top belted, it's beautiful.

Hope your week is going well!

I remember when peplum first came out and so many stylists said it's not flattering. Gosh, they were wrong. I love it, and I will always wear it now!!
